Make room.
Keep the care boundary.
Choose what you share
Reading-circle participants can pass on any prompt. Do not request another person’s diagnoses, laboratory values, prescription amounts, or private history. A general discussion of public reading does not need those details.
Discuss the information, not someone’s treatment
Speak respectfully. Personal experience is not proof that a treatment will work for someone else. Do not diagnose participants, recommend prescription changes, or treat a group agenda as a clinical assessment. Individual medical questions belong with a qualified care team.
Reader submissions and moderation
Questions sent to the editorial inbox are reviewed before any public use. Publication permission is optional and unchecked in the question composer. Permission does not guarantee publication. Editors may request clarification, remove identifying details, decline a submission, or ask for renewed permission if an edit changes its meaning.
What is here at launch
The reading guides and prompt cards are original editorial work. They are not existing member posts, clinician interviews, verified testimonials, or popular-vote results. The circle planner creates a private agenda in your browser; it does not book events or notify participants.
Keep sources and privacy visible
Use public source links, identify uncertainties, and ask before sharing someone else’s account. Avoid posting private medical or financial information. Questions about moderation or privacy can be sent to contact@midlifecommons.com.
